Emerging Clinician Mount Mary
Christine Strottmann is a compassionate Clinical Mental Health Intern currently providing supervised therapeutic services at NeuroWave Therapy Group in Kenosha, Wisconsin. With 24 years of experience in special education, social work, and educational therapy, she brings deep clinical insight and trauma-informed expertise to her counseling practice.
In her ongoing practicum, Christine delivers individual counseling and facilitates process-oriented therapy groups for adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. She specializes in supporting adoptees and women navigating peri- and post-menopause, utilizing psychodynamic, narrative, solution-focused, and CBT-informed approaches. She excels at building strong therapeutic alliances and creating safe, inclusive spaces for emotional expression and personal growth.
Christine holds an M.Ed. in Special Education from California State University Northridge, a
BSW from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and is completing her Master’s in Mental
Health Counseling at Mount Mary University (expected May 2027). Passionate about bridging education and mental health, she is deeply committed to client-centered care, clinical supervision, and helping individuals heal and thrive through life transitions.
