Doreliz Pizarro is a Bilingual Substance Abuse Counselor-in-training who speaks both Spanish and English and is passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate challenges related to alcohol and substance use. She earned her bachelor’s degree in social work with a minor in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee in 2025 and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with an expected graduation date of 2027.
Doreliz believes that seeking support is a courageous act of self-care and that healing begins with feeling safe enough to be one’s authentic self. She strives to create a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where clients feel heard, valued, and understood. She is passionate about helping individuals overcome the stigma associated with addiction and believes in honoring each client’s unique experiences, meeting them where they are, and supporting them at their own pace.
Through empathy, encouragement, and collaboration, Doreliz helps clients develop coping skills, build resilience, navigate life’s challenges, and work toward meaningful change. Her goal is to empower clients by recognizing their strengths and providing a space where they feel supported, respected, and confident in their healing journey.
