Francesca Trammell

Emerging Clinician Alverno College

Francesca Trammell is a Clinical Counseling Intern currently completing her clinical training at NeuroWave Therapy Group while pursuing her Master’s degree in Counseling at Alverno College. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational and Leadership Studies from Alverno College, which informs her understanding of personal growth, communication, and human behavior. Francesca is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and respected. She was drawn to the counseling field through her passion for supporting individuals during life’s most difficult transitions, including grief, caregiving for loved ones, single motherhood, and the search for clarity and direction.

These lived experiences have shaped her perspective on resilience, identity, and emotional healing. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, active listening, and meeting clients where they are. Francesca views therapy as a collaborative and empowering process, working alongside clients to build self-awareness, deepen emotional understanding, and foster meaningful, lasting growth. Francesca has a strong interest in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life stressors.

She is especially drawn to grief work, supporting caregivers, and working with Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs), helping them better understand and embrace their sensitivity as a strength rather than a limitation. She also supports individuals experiencing challenges with self-esteem and motivation. In session, clients can expect a compassionate and attentive presence. Francesca is deeply attuned to the emotional experiences of others and values creating an environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and feelings without judgment. She works collaboratively with clients to help them gain clarity, strengthen resilience, and move forward in ways that feel aligned and fulfilling.
