Jennifer B. Adams, LPCIT
Professional Counselor in Training
Jennifer is a licensed professional counselor in training (LPC-IT) who earned her MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wisconsin–Superior. She completed her internship with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation for the State of Wisconsin, where she counseled individuals with both physical and mental health disabilities. She also volunteers with BeLEAF Survivors, providing advocacy and support to survivors of sexual assault and abuse. Her mission is to create a safe, empathetic space where clients feel seen, heard, and genuinely supported.
Jennifer’s therapeutic style is person-centered, a humanistic approach that honors each client’s unique experiences, values, and strengths. She believes healing begins when individuals feel safe enough to explore their thoughts and emotions without judgment. In her sessions, clients will find a compassionate partner who listens deeply and respects their autonomy. She offers a calm, nonjudgmental environment where clients can speak freely and explore what matters most to them. Together, she works with clients to uncover insights, build resilience, and foster meaningful change.
