Kelsey Kovach
Emerging Clinician UW Milwaukee
Kelsey is a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. She chose to pursue a career in counseling because she believes that connecting with a trusted professional can foster healing, improve overall well-being, and enhance quality of life.
Prior to beginning her counseling program, Kelsey spent time living in and exploring communities in Kenosha, Atlanta, Chicago, and Miami, experiences that have contributed to her appreciation for diverse backgrounds and perspectives. She has a particular interest in working with Spanish-speaking adults and individuals managing Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
Kelsey is committed to creating a supportive, compassionate, and collaborative environment where clients feel heard and empowered in their personal growth. She believes that counseling can help individuals navigate challenges, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys listening to music, caring for her plants—including an orchid she has maintained for over 10 years—and spending quality time with family and friends.
