MaryAgnes "Mary" Obias
Senior Clinical Intern
Mary Obias is a graduate of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and is currently awaiting licensure. She also earned a certificate in Trauma-Informed Care. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. Her academic and professional experiences have shaped a person-centered, compassionate approach to counseling that honors each client’s story and strengths.
Mary is currently accepting clients and has experience supporting both adolescents and adults across a variety of settings, including hospitals, schools, and community-based programs. Her work integrates evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), always grounded in empathy and cultural sensitivity. She is especially passionate about helping clients build emotional awareness, strengthen coping skills, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. Whether clients are navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, or seeking greater self-understanding, Mary strives to create a safe and supportive space where healing and growth can occur.
