Michaela L. Medrano, ABA Certified, ICGC-I
Clinical Intern
I’m Michaela, a current graduate student in the CMHC program at UW-Milwaukee. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology at UW La-Crosse where I began my journey as an ABA technician working with neurodivergent youth.
I take a person-centered approach with the hopes of tailoring my support to individuals' unique needs, values, and life experiences. I believe that seeking support is a powerful act of self-care and courage, one that opens the door for personal growth, understanding, and the chance to be truly seen and heard.
To me, healing starts with feeling safe and being able to show up as your true self. That is why I am passionate about creating a space that is comfortable and free of judgment, where individuals can openly share their thoughts, feelings, and life challenges through a trusting and meaningful connection.
