Rayne Deluz
Emerging Clinician UW Milwaukee
Rayne Deluz is a Clinical Counseling Intern who believes that healing is not about fixing what is broken, but about reconnecting with the parts of oneself that may have been lost, silenced, or overwhelmed through life's experiences. She strives to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel genuinely seen, supported, and empowered to explore their experiences with curiosity, compassion, and authenticity.
Her clinical approach is informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and somatic-based interventions. Rayne has a particular interest in the connection between the mind and body and how trauma, stress, and life experiences influence emotional well-being and daily functioning. She works collaboratively with clients to identify patterns that may no longer serve them while developing practical skills for emotional regulation, self-awareness, and values-based living.
Rayne enjoys working with individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, life transitions, relationship concerns, and questions related to meaning and purpose. She is especially passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ individuals and those seeking a holistic approach to healing. Her professional interests also include mindfulness, nervous system regulation, spirituality, and emerging research in psychedelic-assisted therapies.
As a bilingual counseling intern, Rayne provides services in both English and Spanish and is committed to offering culturally responsive care that honors each client's unique background, identity, and lived experiences.
Rayne views therapy as a collaborative process in which clients are the experts on their own lives. Her role is to walk alongside them, offering support, perspective, and evidence-based tools as they move toward greater healing, self-discovery, and personal growth. Whether clients are navigating a specific challenge or seeking a deeper understanding of themselves, Rayne strives to provide a welcoming space where they can feel empowered to grow and thrive.
