Rose Cramer
Emerging Clinician UW Milwaukee
Rose is a clinical intern at NeuroWave Therapy Group and is currently completing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, along with a Trauma-Informed Care Certificate. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
As a Milwaukee native and Afro-Latina daughter of a Honduran immigrant mother, Rose is passionate about supporting underserved and underrepresented communities, including both English and Spanish speaking clients. She has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals and nursing homes, which helped shape her appreciation for working with diverse populations and the geriatric community. As a former college athlete, she is also interested in supporting athletes through stress, identity, and life transitions.
While continuing to develop her counseling modalities and clinical approach, Rose is especially drawn to Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approaches. She believes healing begins with the ability to fully be oneself, prioritize self-care, and find strategies that work best for each individual. Her goal is to create a warm and supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their growth.
